Technology Overview
Talkdynamics has developed an innovative and proprietary technology architecture called
"Instant Voice" (IV). The Instant Voice Network is a hybrid peer-to multi-peer client-server
design linking together two well established concepts. This innovative approach provides a
highly secure corporate grade IP-based voice communication network of outstanding quality.
Talkdynamics technology is a broadcast quality intercom and conferencing solution
providing secured VoIP and global presence across corporate boundaries. Talkdynamics’
technology edge relies on proprietary software and protocol.
Instant Voice Technology
With Talkdynamics' innovative "Instant Voice" technology approach, we recognize that the
future of voice communications is based on dynamic and free flowing voice - not static. With
Talkdynamics technology, once connected to the network, any participant can "instantly"
create a multi party voice communication session and add as many available users or
devices to the on-going connection, without having to disconnect and setup a separate
connection. This free flowing approach is a radical departure from legacy circuit-switched
telephony and even modern packet switched solutions such as SIP that are still "influenced"
by the traditional telephony heritage and limitations.
Components
Talkdynamics' proprietary Instant Voice Network (IV-N) is designed with enterprise security in
mind, while providing the highest voice quality over IP. The key technology behind this
capability is our proprietary voice router, called the Instant Voice Router, or IV-Router. Upon
login via the client application (called IV-Client), each end-user connection is terminated to a
bridge, called Instant Voice Bridge on an IV-Router somewhere on the network. All IV-
Bridges have the capacity to route incoming audio to any other IV-Bridges instantly, even if it
is located on another IV-Router. The technology that enables IV-Routers to communicate
with each other is called IV-Protocol, a unique and proprietary technology. A single IV-Router
can support a large volume of voice calls, providing for a highly cost-efficient network. The
protocol enables IV-Routers to communicate between each other, on a one-to-one or one-to-
many basis.
